Sirocco vs Quest 31on the bay of Arcachon and Atlantic

Dear Prout community
After years of searching for the "right" boat, I have come to the conclusion that the best would be a small catamaran, in the range between the Sirocco and the Quest 31.
My program is the following: we will sail on the bay of Arcachon for one or two seasons until we know the boat well enough to go out on the Atlantic and sail either to South Bretonny or Northern spain. the crew will be us, in the 50's and our daughters in her 20's, none a great sailor.
Ultimately the boat will be used to ferry the grand-children on the bay of Arcachon.
The bay is a place of strong tides and shifting sand banks current of 5-7 knots are not unusual.
What is your take?
